Tensile Fabric Structures Introduction DHD International offers the services of an architectural, engineering and design company that specializes in unusual structures, while still manufacturing and installing conventional tensile structures and the patented Pagoda Space Cover system. Tensile Structures Tensile Structures are manufactured from PVC-coated polyester, PTFE-coated glass fiber, or in certain cases coated with reinforced concrete. Materials may vary depending on the application and longevity required. Interior linings are silicon-coated glass fiber cloth with a Class O fire rating, cotton calico, or Trevira Cs with a class 1 fire rating. All structures can carry logos or other signage if required. Tensile Structures and Canopies can be added to existing buildings without disruption to the use of the building. In addition to the use of fabric; perforated metal, fiber glass, cable net, and steel mesh can be used. Lighting and projected images can also be incorporated. Applications Applications include architectural entranceways, walkways, exhibitions, shade structures, vending areas, window canopies, and covered smoking areas.
